Situation

Just a short distance from Plaidy, there are the local Primary and Secondary Schools, convenience shops and a bus stop.

Looe is a small coastal town with a working fishing port. The town is set in a valley, separated in two by the River Looe. It is made up of a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants leading down to the seafront with a sandy beach and the Banjo Pier. To the West side of Looe offshore lays St Georges Island, which is a prominent feature on the landscape view from the garden at Highgrove.
Looe is famous for its food with its fish market where you can buy local produce and you will find many eateries in the town serve up award winning fare from fish and chips near the river to gourmet menus in restaurants overlooking the harbour.
There is a Golf Club approx. 3.5 miles from the property and a tennis court in West Looe, as well as the Looe Sailing Club and Looe Rowing Club.
There is a train connection from Looe which takes you along the Looe Valley Line to the local town of Liskeard, where there is a main line to London Paddington.

Take A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout
Take the A374 signed for Looe and Torpoint (1st exit if approaching from Plymouth).
After 1.3 miles turn right onto the A387 signed for Looe.
Stay on this road for 6 miles (it becomes the B3253 at Widegates).
Then as you are approaching Looe, with St Martins Church to your right, take the left turn signed for Sunrising, Barbican, and Plaidy.
Follow this road along until you get to our office on the right (PL13 1EZ) and the primary school on your left. Take the Hay Lane turning on the left after the primary school and follow this hill down. As it starts to bend round to the right, take the turning in front of you on to Plaidy Park Road. Follow Plaidy Park Road all the way along to the end, and you will find the driveway with ‘Highgrove’ signposted clearly on the wall.
